Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLINE KLUNER (nee MILLER) Peacefully on Saturday, December 9, 2006, at the River East Personal Care Home with her loving family by her side, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Caroline Kluner, passed away at the age of 93 years. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her daughter, Donalee (Lee) Poirier and her husband Cliff and her son, Gordon Armour and his wife Ann. She will be dearly missed by eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren whom she adored. She also leaves to mourn her brother Bill Miller (Mary) and numerous nieces and nephews who were all an important part of Caroline's close-knit family. Caroline was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Armour in 1964, by her second husband, Harry Kluner in 1987; parents Eva and Lawrence Miller; two sisters, Clara and Rose and three brothers, Fred, Oscar and Peter. Born in Winnipeg, mom was employed by Paulin Chambers and Perths until her retirement. She was a gracious lady who had a deep and abiding faith and was a long-time member of Calvary Temple. Caroline was best known for her radiant smile and warm nature. Everyone who knew her will remember that feisty and vibrant personality. She was renowned among family and friends for her incredible cooking, baking and her open and generous hospitality. She also enjoyed knitting and made sure that all of her children and grandchildren had a sweater, bonnet and mittens made especially for them. She was also known as a perfectionist and an immaculate dresser. Following cremation, a private family funeral service will be held in the Buntain Chapel at Calvary Temple with Pastor Bruce Logan officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the loving and compassionate care Caroline received from the devoted staff of Faith Lane at the River East Personal Care Home during the last 5 years of her life.
