Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANK RODERICK DAVIS It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, brother-in-law and friend to many, Frank Davis. Frank passed away peacefully at home on December 9, 2006. He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 43 years, Thelma; his cherished children, Karen, Dean (Marilyn), Kevin (Lori) and Marlene and his precious grandchildren Sean, Barrett, Brittany, Justin, Dylan, Shelby, Jenelle, Matthew and his great-grandchild Riley; his devoted sisters, Caroline, Freda, Lucy, Josephine, Doris, and Rose, his brothers Jim (Vera) and Joe; his mother-in-law Evelyn Asham; his brothers-in-law Arnold (Laurie), Ivor (Carol), Garth (Tracy) and Kelly; his sisters-in-law, Betty (Bill), Fern (Bob); his special sister-in-law Sandra Asham and his son-in-law Robert Boucher as well as his special cousin Florence Ross along with numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and many friends. Frankie was predeceased by his parents Louisa and Pat Davis; his father-in-law Norman Asham; his granddaughter Rhiannon; his sister Hilda Harris and his best friend Andrew Houle. Frank was born at Ebb Flow on November 29, 1941. He spent most of his youth in the area before taking on numerous jobs throughout the province. Frank worked hard at Bell Foundry in Winnipeg where he formed many life long friendships. In 1975, he moved back to Bacon Ridge to start his own business, Davis Taxi, Up until his passing and for over 20 years, Frank was employed as a school bus driver for Frontier School Division. Frank shared many gifts with all who knew him from young to old. He could always be counted on to help in anyway that he could. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. Some of his favorite past times included going for a nightly drive, visiting on the phone and the highlight of each year was helping to prepare for the Asham Stomper Festival. A celebration of Frank's life will be held on Thursday, December 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ste. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Rose du Lac. A time of visitation and viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Fr. Norberto Monton will officiate with the service concluding at the church with cremation to follow. Interment will take place at a later date. The family wishes to thank all of their family and friends who sent well wishes, prayers and spent time with Frank throughout the last years of his life. He left us with many great memories and we feel privileged and honored to have known him. His spirit will live on in all who loved him. Ste. Rose Memorial Chapel, Ste.
