MARJORIE BEATRICE KLATT (nee BAILEY) Peacefully on December 11, 2006 Marjorie Beatrice Klatt passed into God's arms. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Melford Klatt and her granddaughter Amanda. She leaves to mourn her passing her sons, Gregory (Noreen), Miles (Cindy), Thomas (Ruth), Shawn (Julie) and daughters, Pam (Brian) and Dawn (Rick), grandchildren, Michael (Lauralie), Rikki (Jayson), Cody, Kyle, Melissa and Teagan, and great-grandchildren, Keanna and Ashton, her sisters, Merle, Fran and brother Rennie and numerous nieces and nephews. Marjorie was born in Redvers, Saskatchewan, March 27, 1932. She married Melford Klatt in December 1951. After a few years of moving around Mel and Marj settled in the Kenora area for 18 years and in the fall of 1974 they moved with their family to Winnipeg. Mom's home was always full of love and welcome for her children and our friends. Quite often you could find us all together for a Sunday BBQ and cards with mom playing hostess. There was no place she would rather have all of her kids than with her at home. After some health issues Marjorie moved into the St. Norbert Personal Care Home and had resided there since 1999. She loved to play bingo and go on the outings that the home often put on. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff and nurses of SNPC for their care and compassion over the past months, it was second to none. A memorial service will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Recreation Department at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home.
