CHRISTINE FOGG (nee KALISZ) October 2, 1952 December 12, 2006 Our dear and beloved wife, daughter, sister and friend passed away peacefully at home. Chris, beautiful and brave, leaves behind her husband Jim; her mother Helena Kalisz; her sister Betty Kalisz; her brothers and sisters-in law, Robbie, Andy (Melanie), Val (Wayne), Susan (Rex), and her many nieces and nephews. Her many friends, especially Gisela, Ardith, Lucy and Betty will miss the 40 years of her friendship, her laughter, her advice, her inspiration and the adventures they shared together. Her father, Stefan Kalisz, predeceased Sasha . Chris made many life-long friends at Gordon Bell High School. She was also close friends with many of her co-workers at the Bank of Montreal where she retired after 25+ years. She then became indispensable at Consolidated Turf, the family business. Chris loved Lake of the Woods where she created beautiful gardens for Audrey and Gordon, her mother and father-in-law. Chris always kept Echo Bay looking wonderful for the whole Fogg family despite the natural elements of nature that challenged her every summer. Long weekends were sacred to Chris at the lake. She adored all of her critters, especially Smokey and Bandit, along with the foxes, chipmunks and squirrels. She loved petsitting Moose, Dagwood, Gypsy, Timber and Dayna. Special thanks are due to Manitoba Home Care, Riverview Health Centre and the Palliative Care Unit. A service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2006. In lieu of flowers, the Winnipeg Humane Society, Chris's favourite charity, will gratefully accept donations. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
