JOHN ROKOSH 1911 - 2006 Peacefully, at the Selkirk General Hospital on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, John Rokosh passed away with his daughter Denise at his side. He has joined his wife, Anne, of 71 years who predeceased him September 4, 2006, and his daughter Betty, November 29, 2001. Left to mourn are his daughters, Eleanor Cybulsky (Ken) and Denise Fawcett (Keith), son Douglas (Joyce) and son-in-law Maurice Sarchuk. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lisa Lundberg, Karla Cybulsky, Kendra Younes, Marci Sarchuk, Kori Pence, Sandi Sarchuk, Kody Fawcett, and Clayton Rokosh, and 11 great grandchildren. Dad was a long time owner and operator of Rokosh Sales and Service, an honorary life member of Selkirk Golf and Country Club, a life member of the Selkirk Rotary Club and an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus. Prayers will be said on Friday, December 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. in the Notre Dame Catholic Church, 269 Jemima St. Selkirk, with Fr. Dado Parrenas officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are Kody Fawcett, Clayton Rokosh, Josh Aimola, Ken Cybulsky, Keith Fawcett and Maurice Sarchuk. Honorary pallbearer is Tyler Cybulsky. Flowers are gratefully declined.
