Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGREGORIE (GEORGE) STEPHAN MOLTSCHANOW 1926 - 2006 After a lengthy illness, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather on Tuesday, December 12, 2006. George was born in Mychajlo-Zukowo, Ukraine on June 26, 1926. He married Irene Klim, November 14, 1945 in Nuremburg, Germany. They immigrated to Canada in 1955 with three children and the fourth being born in Canada. He was predeceased by his wife Irene on May 13, 1999. George is survived by his four sons, Robert (Beverly dec.), Nick (Carol), Wes (Jean) and Joseph (Patsy); grandchildren, Wes, Chad, Michael, Stephen, Anna, Matthew and Melissa. George worked as an auto mechanic at various auto shops in Winnipeg for over 35 years. He retired in 1988 due to heath reasons. A funeral service will be held at Russian Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection, 732 Alfred Ave. on Thursday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church with Rev. Fr. Raphael Vereshak officiating. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Thanks to all the staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion.
