PETER EDWARD JAMES LEWIS Peacefully, on December 13, 2006, at Gimli Community Health Centre, Peter passed away at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his wife Barbara; sister Pat (Roy) Constable and children; daughter Diana (Glenn) Large and children, Jon (Sadie), Jennifer (Anthony), Catherine (Cory) and Shantall (Tyler); daughter Deborah (Paul) Baumung and children, David, Amanda (Sean) and Leanne; son Fred (Hiroko) Lewis and his children, Ricky and Edward; and four great-granddaughters, Jenna, Erin, Amaya and Ashlyn. Peter was well known and respected as an Insurance Adjuster in Winnipeg for most of his career. He happily spent many years with his second love, music, as an accomplished pianist and composer. Most recently he was known in the Interlake area as Pete the Piano Man and as organist at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church, Winnipeg Beach. Peter recorded and published his first repertoire of piano music (CD) Piano Moods for Lovers , his crowning accomplishment completed just before his passing. Bryan Bjerring and congregation of St. Bartholomew's for their loving friendship in recent years.
