Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD LORNE WILSON Peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at Deer Lodge Centre, Don Wilson, beloved husband of Annette died at the age of 84 years. Don was born January 31, 1922 at Lavallee, ON, the fifth of nine children born to James and Aurore Wilson. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Dorothy Kosie and brother Bruce (in infancy), Gilbert, Neil, Douglas and Edward. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Annette and son James; sisters, Yvonne Rosin and Doreen Yardley and brother Andrew and sisters-in-law, Gladys, Elsa and Freda Wilson and Ellen Campain and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was employed by Brake Drum and Shoe and Hayes Dana for over 35 years. He served in Canada and overseas in the R.C.A.F. from 1941 to 1945 and was a member of the first Canadian units to serve in Normandy and Continental Europe. He was proud to make several reunion trips back to Europe in the 1980s and 1990s. Don was a member of 500 Wing, R.C.A.F. in Winnipeg; St. John's Masonic Lodge No. 4, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and the Chanters Unit of Khartum Shrine. He was also a member of St. James Chapter No. 25, Order of the Eastern Star. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held.
