Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE ALARIE (nee LUSSIER) Peacefully on December 14, 2006 and surrounded by loved ones, Marie, aged 89 years, passed away at the Repos Jolys in St-Pierre-Jolys. Marie left us to join her beloved husband and soulmate of 49 years, Noël (1992). Left to cherish her and celebrate her life are her six children, Paulette (Jules) Hébert of Winnipeg, Marlene (Guy) Hébert of St-Pierre-Jolys, Monique (Denis) Lafond of Winnipeg, Louise (Rick) Wright of St-Albert (AB), Annette (John) Hurd of Vancouver (BC) and Daniel (Louise Dandenault) of St-Pierre-Jolys. Mémère will also be missed by her nine grandchildren, Joel (Christine), Kevin, Darrell (Lori), Tanya (Réal), Dawn, Brigitte (Russel), Roxanne (Daniel), Jaime, Kelssay and eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters, Simone Desilets and Yolande (Philippe) Aubry, and was predeceased by her brother Lorne. Marie was born in 1917 in St. Elizabeth to Edgar and Flore Lussier. In 1943, she married Noël Alarie and together they took over the family farm in Ste-Elizabeth. They raised their children and spent most of their life on the farm. Marie was a caring, generous, giving and loving person. You were ALWAYS welcome in her home, a place filled with love and happiness. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the St-Pierre Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Guy Lavallée, OMI officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will take place at the St-Boniface Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Repos Jolys for the excellent care and attention they provided Mom over the years. Thank you to all our family and friends for their compassion and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba would be appreciated.
