YVONNE (EVE) HELEN BELL (nee MACAULEY) On December 14, 2006, Eve passed away at her home at the age of 79. Eve is survived by her loving husband Dave; daughter Debbie (Charles) and their children, Mike and Meghan; son Darrell (Loretta) and their children, Amanda, Karie, Cassandra and Kyle; sister Irene; nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her son Kenneth, and sister Geraldine. Eve was born at her family home on September 8, 1927 in Winnipeg and attended Lord Selkirk School. She worked at Eaton's, Lever Brothers, Office Overload and CN. In retirement, she enjoyed her winters in Texas and summers at Pelican Lake with her family. Eve volunteered for and enjoyed many social activities including River East Personal Care Home, Eager Beavers, Good Neighbours, and Bronx Park Bridge Club. Casino day trips, reading, pool exercises and walking were other pleasurable activities. The family would like to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Program and also Dr. Singer for their care and compassion. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Eve's life will be held on Tuesday, December 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private family interment will have taken place.
