THOMAS ROBERT (BOB) HAYWOOD After a brief battle with cancer, Bob passed away at the age of 72 years at Bethesda Hospital with his family by his side on Thursday, December 14, 2006. He leaves to mourn his wife Marcella of 48 years, four children Fay (Marv), Robert (Tanya), Daniel, Pam (Warren), seven grandchildren Stephanie, Michael, Amanda, Miranda, Tommy, Megan, Kylie and three great-grandchildren Kaylynn, Chantel and Marcus. Bob is also survived by his brothers Joe and Pat and his sister Edith. Bob was predeceased by his parents Edith and John Haywood and his brother Jack. Bob lived in Lorette for the past 37 years where he raised his family. He worked at the Union Stockyards and Hog Commission for many years. He later moved on to work with the Core of Commissionaires for 12 years until he retired at the age of 68. He enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Funeral service will take place on Monday, December 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. # 1 East at Navin Rd with Rev. Janet Walker presiding. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. Bob's family would like to thank Dr. M. Duerksen and the nurses at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach.
