BARBARA (BARB) JOAN SNELGROVE Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of our wife and mother Barbara in her sleep on Saturday, December 9, 2006, at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 65 years. Remaining to cherish Barb's memory are her loving husband, Brian of 45 years of marriage; daughters Tracey (Wayne) and Bonnie (Garth); her favorite grandson Daniel; her sister Susan; and will also be deeply missed by her two greatest friends Geri and Judy, and her bingo buddy cousin Sandy. She was predeceased by her father Joseph, mother Lillian, brother Kenny and sister Audrey. Barb had a huge zest for life and had so much more to do although God had other plans for her. She loved her family and friends unconditionally and enjoyed so many things, especially her summers at Grand Beach surrounded by all her family. To my mom, the more the merrier. She always had an open door policy. Mom took yearly road trips across the country and in the last 5 years found so much happiness in flying off to Phoenix. Her favorite trip was one to Las Vegas with just her and my dad. She was a huge sports enthusiast beginning with the Bombers and getting into the Moose and Goldeyes. Golf was another passion and she loved her ladies league. As Barb had so many friends, you could never go anywhere without bumping into someone she knew and she always made time to chat. She was an extraordinary person with a vibrant spirit and will be sorely missed by all her knew her. A private family funeral service will be held. We give many thanks to Dr. Rubinger, Jayne and all the nurses and pharmacists in the treatment center. Thank you to Chris and Mariette who took care of her at home. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations in Barb's memory may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB., R3E 0V9. Mom you truly had a heart of gold and God is getting a very special angel We love you Barb's arrangements have been entrusted to the Family Owned Funeral Chapel of: WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 4665
