Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySADIE LARENCE (BARRETT) With great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved mother Sadie Larence, on December 14, 2006 at the age of 104. Sadie was born in Osborne, MB, on November 23, 1902. When she was two, her family moved to Headingley. They then moved to Fisher Branch when she was 13 years old, where she met and married Harry Larence. They had nine children, four sons and five daughters. They farmed their entire life, eventually moving into town. Our Dad passed away in 1990. Mom remained in her home until 1995, at which time she moved into Winnipeg. At her time of death she residing at The Golden Door Personel Care Home. Mom took great pride in her family. She strived to give us the important things in life. Her love for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren was endless. She took great pleasure in her garden and flowers. The whole family enjoyed her pickles, jams and preserves. Her evenings were spent knitting and quilting. Most everyone in the family, plus many friends, enjoy her quilts and Christmas stockings. She was predeceased by her husband Harry; four sons, Harold, Jim, Eugene and Bob. Daughters-in-law, Erika and Amy. Sons-in-law, Gerald Olson and Denis Giasson. One granddaughter Debbie Larence. She is survived by her five daughters, Irene Fraser (Dave), Noreen Dutiaume (Corky), Sadie Larence, Genevieve Olson and Darlene Giasson. Three daughters-in-law, Lucie, Lillian and Patsy. Twenty-Six grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 46 great- great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fisher Branch Roman Catholic Church. Father Michael officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fisher Branch Personnel Care Home or a charity of one's choice. Fisher Funeral Home in care of arrangements. 204-372-6271.
