JOSEPH ALPHONSE REMILLARD September 19, 1923 December 14, 2006 It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather at the St. Boniface Hospital. Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his wife Madeleine; children, Raymond (Joanne), Diane (Doug), Guy, Claude (Suzanne), Richard (Carole), Denis (Anna) and Gerald (Sandy); stepchildren, Daniel (Carolyn) and Laureanne (Gordon); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends. He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Bernadette, Cecile and brother Paul. Born on the family farm in St. Joseph, Jos later farmed his own land there and in St. Jean Baptiste. Jos moved to Winnipeg in 1970 where he met and married Madeleine Perricard George. He worked at the St. Boniface General Hospital until his retirement in 1988. Never having lost his love of the land, and enjoying nothing more than spending time with his family, Jos organized many outdoor work bees with his sons. There was always work to be done and you could count on Jos to gather the clan. Jos was a loving husband, father and grandfather, completely dedicated to his family. He leaves them his most precious gift, his unconditional love. The family would like to thank the entire staff of 6A South and doctors Francois and St. Hilaire for their kind and compassionate care of Joseph. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald.
