ELMAR LORNE ROBERTSON Peacefully, on Saturday, December 16, 2006; Elmar died at the Fred Douglas Lodge Personal Care Home, at the age of 86 years. Elmar was born on May 6, 1920 in Marquette, MB. He is survived by his brother Lloyd (MaryAnn); sister Evelyn; sister-in-law Emily; nieces and nephews Darlene (Allen), Daryl (Shelley), Melanie (Shawn) and Lorne; great-nephews and niece Johann, Cody, Trenton, Travis and Macy as well as many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara; parents, Lorne and Elizabeth; brother Doug and brother-in-law Russel. For many years, Elmar worked on the family farm. He also worked for Paterson Elevators later in life. He resided in Marquette for most of his life but spent the last few years living in Woodlands. Elmar was a very hospitable, kind and generous person. His door was open to all. He especially loved his God, Jehovah and was happy to share his faith with everyone. Elmar's Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m., in the Meadow Lea Hall, Marquette, Manitoba. The family extends special thanks to Rose and the caring, capable staff at Fred Douglas Lodge.
