EUGENE CHARLES BONVILLE May 7, 1936 - December 18, 2006 Peacefully on Monday December 18, 2006 Eugene passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Dad was predeceased by our mother and grandmother Margaret in July 1986. Dad is survived by his daughter Susan Petrachek (Roy), sons Bill (Dianne) and Tim (Jenny) and grandchildren, Chris Petrachek, Billy, Melissa, Devon, Eric, Alex and Mathew Bonville and two great-grandchildren. Dad led a full life, first serving in the armed forces for 25 years only to retire and take on yet other careers, first as a transport driver then in later years as a commissionaire at the Winnipeg Airport. In recent years, due to Dad's health, he finally agreed to move in with his daughter and her family where he spend much of his time enjoying his family in Susan's backyard. Dad's favorite companions during his outdoor activities were the family's dog and cat, although he did appreciate the odd bit of human companionship. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends especially his puzzle partner Sue and storyteller Chris. The family wishes to thank Dad's doctors and all those who cared for him at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2006 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Interment at a later date.
