NONA SAUNDERS Nona passed away peacefully at home after a long couregous battle of cancer. Nona was an employee of Air Canada as a flight attendant, trainer and supervisor, retiring after 33 years of service December 2003. She was never a tourist, always a traveller, and at home wherever she went. Nona also worked part time for l6 years as a corporate trainer for Xerox. Nona's love of the written word was evident in her poetry and ability to communicate. Nona was predeceased by her father Wilfred (Inky) Saunders, and survived by her husband Larry Morrison; her mother Lorraine London; her sisters Daria (husband Frank) Lawna, and Linda. Her brother Horace; niece Cheryl, Aunt Elaine Robinson, and step-children Rebekah and Tyler. A service and celebration of Nona's life will be held Thursday, December 21 at 7:00 p.m. at St. John The Apostle Anglican Church, 2208 St. John Street, Port Moody B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice, in Nona's memory.

  • I went to grade school w/Nona in Transcona. I remember your mom had I think a Cadillac with a 45 record player inside. Nona always came over and would talk to my mom.
