JOE DOMBROWSKI On December 17, 2006, at Concordia Hospital, Joe Dombrowski passed away at the age of 85 years. Joe is survived by his loving wife Nellie of 60 years; his son Ray (Linda) Donald; two daughters, Pat (Jim) Ryan, Janice (Richard) Munroe; grandchildren, Craig (Laurene), Ian (Carrie), Jennifer (Chris), Tracy, James (Roxane), Melissa, Garrett (Aita), and Taylor; great-grandchildren Logan, Alexis, Delana, and Owen. Joe served in the Second World War with the RCAF 402 Squadron and was a member of Legion 141. He was an accomplished violin player. Joe was employed as a Carman with CNR, retiring in 1982. After retirement he devoted more time to his interests including restoration of the railway cars on display at the Forks. He enjoyed his winters spent in Florida with his many friends. Special thanks to the home care workers for all their help and support. Visitation will be held at the Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue on Friday, December 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in the Holy Ghost Cemetery.
