MARGARET MARION (MAGGIE) BEDNAREK (nee BURNETT) Peacefully, on December 18, 2006 at the Stonewall Health Centre, Margaret Bednarek of Stonewall, MB, formerly of Moosehorn, MB. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, her husband Tony and her son Larry. She is survived by her sister Audrey Gabbs of Stonewall, MB; a daughter-in-law Judy of Winnipeg; sons, Wade (Sharon) of Duncan, BC, Terry (Judy) of Calgary, AB, and Devon (Cathy) of Stonewall, MB; a daughter Sandra (Gerald) of Brandon, MB, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and special friends. Ma spent most of her life in the Grahamdale and Moosehorn areas. She always had a warm meal and bed for all who stopped by. She would always listen to your problems, and then tell you the way it really was. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Stonewall and Ashern hospitals for the wonderful care they gave our Mother. At Margaret's request, cremation has taken place and a family memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. A light has gone out of our lives. Ma enriched us in so many ways. Though she is gone, her spirit will live on in everyone that knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
