FRED (FLORYAN FELIX) JABLONSKI January 22, 1937 - December 18, 2006 It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that the family of Fred (Floryan Felix) Jablonski announces his peaceful passing, Monday, December 18, 2006 at Selkirk General Hospital. Fred leaves to mourn his children, Lisa (Bill) and Jason; brothers and sisters, Victor, Evelyn (Delbert), Teophil (Joanie), Marcella and Bernard (Val); sister-in-law Edith Mae; grandchildren, Dylan, Sabrina, Darren, Candice, Crystal, along with numerous family and friends. Fred was predeceased by his son Robbie, mother Katherine, father Stanley and brother Edward. Fred was born and raised in Highland Glen, MB. He later resided in Winnipeg and Selkirk. Dad was employed as a custodian with the Winnipeg School Board, and in the latter part with the Province of Manitoba with various departments. In his younger years, he enjoyed doing home renovations and his pastime roofing. He loved taking his children on vacations and spending time at the farm on weekends. Dad was a good cook and enjoyed having company to share a bowl of his homemade soup. Dad lived life to the fullest and for the moment. He cherished spending time with his grandson Dylan playing cards and board games. Dylan was the sparkle in our Dad's eyes. The family would like to thank the homecare and nursing staff who cared for our father. A viewing will take place on Friday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation of MB. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
