ALBERT LOWE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and Zaida, Albert Lowe. Albert passed away on November 27, 2006 at the age of 77 at St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side. Albert will be greatly missed by his wife Sheila, of 50 years; daughters, Norma Lowe Klein (Howard), Ellen Rappaport (Efrem); grandchildren, Daniel, Aviva, Lauren; sister Clara Cohen; brother-in-law Harvey Permack (Connie) and many nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by his parents Meyer and Regina Lowe and brother-in-law Meyer Cohen. Albert will be remembered as a people person, he always had a smile and a joke. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren. He was always interested in all their activities. Albert and Sheila enjoyed traveling and he was especially proud of his many tours to Israel. He loved spending time at the cottage and golf was his passion. His other interests included bowling, curling, bridge and gin rummy where he formed many friendships that lasted his lifetime. Albert enjoyed life to the fullest and his determination and will set an example to all that knew him. He faced everyday with optimism and hope and never complained during his lengthy illness. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Funeral services were held at Congregation Etz Chayim with Rabbi Henry Balser and Cantor Gerry Daien officiating. Pallbearers were Harry Glinter, Howard Klein, Harvey Permack, Efrem Rappaport, Saul Rifkin and Avery Spigelman. Honorary Pallbearers were Frank Weinfeld and Myer Thompson. The family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses and staff of the Dialysis and Cardiology Departments at the St. Boniface Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for their care, devotion, friendship and support which spanned over many years.
