Their first child was born 1929 and their last in 1955. They spent many years living in their home on Manahan Street. After the passing of Albert, due to illness in 1974, Alice continued on with the support of her children. She spent time living in Richer, then her home on Chevier Boulevard, before moving into Centre Tache, and finally Golden Door Care Home. Alice spent many evenings in the company of family and friends. Guests in her home always enjoyed glorious meals, hot tea and a warm welcome. She enjoyed playing cards, watching movies, gardening, knitting and attending mass at the St. Vital Parish. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Golden Door for their wonderful care of our mother. A funeral mass will be held on Friday December 22 at 10.30 a.m., in the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. Interment will follow in the St. Vital Parish Cemetery.
