Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Jacqueline; son-in-law Denis; cherished granddaughter Danielle; sister Annette of Los Angeles and nephew Ken (Barbara). Rolande was predeceased by her husband George; her sister Lucienne and her brothers, Leo, Fernand and Gus. Mum was a mentor for what it meant to live a good, compassionate and full life. Above all, she was a role model for what it meant to be a good mother. Nana, I love you so much. You and I will always be a team. Thank you for teaching me about strength, compassion and humour. Thank you for always having the 7-UP in the fridge, for letting me stay up as long as I wanted, for letting me play on your sewing machine and for taking care of me anytime. Thank you for all the laughter we shared and mostly, thank you for every ounce of unconditional love you gave. You have helped to make me the person I am today and for that I will be eternally grateful. For the memories and love we feel you will live forever in our hearts. A funeral service will be held Friday, Decemeber 22 at Our Lady of Victory Memorial Church, Arnold Avenue at Osborne at 10:00 a.m. where Rolande had been a parishioner for over 50 years. The family would like to thank the community of people at The Golden Door for the compassionate care and concern extended to Rolande and her family. Sweet dreams little lady. See you tomorrow.
