BARBARA BROWN (nee RAINEY) September 26, 1926 - December 20, 2006 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barb on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at Selkirk Hospital, at the age of 80. She will be sadly missed by her children, Millie (Walter) Fey of Grand Marais, Elaine (Lloyd) Rach of Selkirk, Thomas Brown and Kevin Brown of Winnipeg. Also nephew Eddie Bates of Winnipeg, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mom was predeceased by her husband Donald; her parents Edward and Ethel Rainey; sister Marion and brother-in-law Charles Bates. Barb was born and raised in Winnipeg. She married Don on September 23, 1950. She loved to play bingo and she was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion #84. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Selkirk Hospital Staff, Dr. Lindenschmidt, and Red River Nursing Home Staff for the loving care of our mom for last six years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. She will be missed by many. We love you Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma. May you rest in peace.
