MAURICE MARCEL DEWIELE Peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2006, Maurice Marcel DeWiele passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 81. Maurice lived a full life, always with the comfort of family and friends. He left us to join his wife Irene and his brother Victor. Maurice worked for many years at the C.N.R. and he greatly valued the friendships he made there. He also was a member of the Gateway Club and Belgian Club. Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life are his daughters, Mona (Colin), Marie (Craig); son Mark (Shannon), and his granddaughters, Andrea, Erica, Angela and Erin. Also left to mourn his passing are his sisters, Marguerite, Madeline, Simone (Pete) and his sister-in-law Marion and their families. The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Sciences Centre, St. Boniface and Concordia Hospitals for their care, devotion and support over the last few years. Also, a special thank you to his home care staff, Shannon DeWiele, Marion DeWiele and friend Rena Prach for their assistance during this time of need. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 28, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald with Rev. Fr. Ronald Léger, c.s.v. presiding. Viewing one half-hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery.
