JOHN FRANKLIN GRAHAM BATTEN Graham, born March l5, l9l5 in Woodmore, MB, passed away at The Whispering Pines Lodge in Vita, MB on December 2l, 2006. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Alice; daughter Sandra (Bill); sons, Allan (Gleness) and Kelvin; grand-children, David (Cheryl), Karen (Mark) and great-granddaughter Sarah; sister Margaret and her family and numerous other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, sister and brother. Dad farmed all of his life in Woodmore, and due to his failing health, Mom and Dad moved to Vita, to be closer to a hospital. The family would like to thank the Homecare workers, the staff at Whispering Pines Lodge and Vita Hospital for the wonderful care given to our Dad over the years. A special thank you to our Mom, who was always there for Dad. The funeral service will be held at the Greenridge United Church, Greenridge, MB on Wednesday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m., with interment at the Greenridge Cemetery. Donations in Graham's memory may be made to the Greenridge United Church Memorial Fund, the Whispering Pines Lodge or a charity of choice.
