Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER SIRANT Peacefully on Sunday December 24, 2006 in Donwood Manor P.C.H Alexander passed away at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his father Paul and mother Pauline eldest brother Michael and sister Mary. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Jean, sons Richard and Larry (Lesley) grandsons Paul (Meghann) David (Brandy) sister Ann Mormul and brothers William and Ronnie. Dad was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Fort Rouge. He served in the Air Force from 1940-1945 as an aircraft mechanic, he retired from public government service as the Queen's printer in 1982, after 27 years of loyal service. Dad loved to garden and took pride in his tomatoes and also loved to golf with his brother Bill every Tuesday with the heather seniors golf club,but his biggest passion was dancing with Mom. Dad loved to go to Thunder Bay and see all of Moms relatives and the many friends they had there. They also loved going to Barbados and always had a wonderful time there with special friends from Hamilton and other people they had met there every December. A friend to all, He will be sadly missed. A special thanks to Syd Spence for his vists every Saturday. In keeping with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday December 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. The family wish to extend their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the staff at Donwood P.C.H. and E.P.H. for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke foundation of Manitoba #200-6 Donald St., R3L-0K6 or Parkinson's foundation of Canada Room 204 825 Sherbrook St. R3A 1M5.
