Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR POLNAU On December 23, 2006 Arthur Polnau peacefully entered into the presence of his Lord. Art was born on April 2, 1932 in Europe. His family was able to go to Paraguay after the war. He loved adventure and travel, so when opportunity arose, he went to Uruguay, then to Germany and finally to Canada. He was a conscientious worker and tried various jobs until he found his niche in the plumbing trade. Providing for his family was always important to him. Life was not always easy, but he trusted God and did the best he could. He is survived by his wife Lilly; son Tim Polnau (Bev); daughter Estee Taylor (Gordon) and grandchildren, Samantha, Christopher, Jasmine and Zachary, as well as very good friends, Jien, Loujia and Carrie and Xiaomin, Tiger and David. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, his first wife Tina, and his daughter Heidi. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 30 at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Ave. At Art's request there will be no viewing.
