ANTONIO FRANCISCO DE ANDRADE It is with great sadness we wish to announce the peaceful passing of Antonio Francisco de Andrade on December 22, 2006 at the age of 81 years at St. Boniface Hospital with his wife and daughter by his side. He leaves behind his wife Maria, daughter Helia, son Helder (Lourdes); five grandchildren, Filomema (Colin), Andrea, Jordan, Xavier and Diego. He was fortunate to enjoy being a great-grandfather to Carter. Tony was a man of spirit and always full of life. He was also a talented musician who loved children and family. He was most happy at his place of birth in Portugal on Faial Island in the Azores where is his later years he spent winter seasons with his wife. When back in Winnipeg Tony enjoyed gardening, spending time with Portuguese friends at Northgate mall and with his family. Prayers will be held on Thursday, December 28 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Hungarian Church, 365 Burnell Street. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. also at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
