Hello, I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Ian! My sincerest condolences to you. I grew up with Ian, in Brandon, who just lived down the street from me - on 16th street. My dad has a store there for many years - Al's Grocery - near the corner of 16th and Princess Avenue. I would be 13 years of age at that time - so about 45 years ago. Ian was a great drummer and, along with Tim McInnes, we "jammed the hours away". We had the opportuninty of playing in Brandon at the Ag-Rec(??) Centre to cover for a band from Winnipeg that had been caught up in a snow storm. Again there was just, Ian, Tim and I - and it was very exciting indeed. It was the first time we had really played publicly - to an audience of some 2 thousand people. Ian was also a great friend. We speant a great deal of time together as we had a common passion - playing music. I have only the fondest memories of Ian and I know that he will be greatly missed. Again, my condolences - even though somewhat belated - as to Ian's passing. Sincerely, Dell - Posted by: Dell Krauchi (Friend and fellow musician!) on: Feb 03, 2013
