DOROTHY SHADY (nee YOUNG) It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Dorothy Shady on December 26, 2006 at the age of 85 years. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Shady in 1981 and by her sisters Marion, Caroline, Irene, brother-in-laws Joe Gluting, Charles Miller, Wally Sklepowich and Rudy Friesen. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Elizabeth (Ed), son Richard (Jean), granddaughters Sheri (Clark), Wendi (Sheldon), Michelle (Robert) and great-granddaughters Sarah and Madison. Also left to mourn her passing are sisters Edna (Harold), Loretta, Leona (Chuck), Helen, brothers Leonard (Irma), Bill (Irene) and Harold (Inez). The family would like to thank the Staff of the St. Boniface Hospital 7A South and to the Staff of the Beausejour Hospital for the care and concern shown to our mother. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Russell Funeral Home, Beausejour, Manitoba. Services will terminate at the Chapel with cremation to follow. If friends so desire memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association of Manitoba.
