DONALD (DON) V. MCQUEEN Peacefully with is wife by his side, Donald Vance McQueen passed away at Misericordia Health Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 73 years on December 22, 2006. Don will be forever cherished and remembered by his loving wife Shirley, his brother Barry (Pat), and all the nieces and nephews he left behind. Don and Shirley celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary on April 21, 2006. Don was a member of the St. Bonifacel Norwood/St. Vital Kinsmen for 10 years. Don was a graduate of the University of Manitoba Chartered Account program and Articled with the firm Pete, Marwick, Mitchell in 1955. In 1986 Don started his own business as an investment counsellor - D.V. McQueen Ltd. when he retired in 1999. Don loved the farm life and moved to La Salle, Manitoba where he lived with Shirley for 28 years. Don loved golfing, football and hockey. The Family would like to thank the devoted Staff of the Misericordia Health Care Centre for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charitable foundation of your choice. A memorial service will be held in Don's Honor at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home on Friday December 29, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. Not Gone ... Just Re-invested!
