JACK FRED MEHNER On Monday, December 25, 2006 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Jack passed away at the age of 85 years. Jack was born in Winnipeg on August 17, 1921. He was predeceased by his mother and father, his two brothers (George and Alfred) and his sister (Lee). Jack is survived by his two sisters (Margaret Unterschultz and Doreen Ridler). He served in the Canadian Armed Force in the R.C.A.F. for seven and one half years. After leaving the military he worked for Monarch Machinery and later Bristol Aerospace until his retirement. He enjoyed the cottage which was his second home. Since his retirement, he had enjoyed continuing to improve the cottage, fishing and watching his nephews (Michael and Kyle) play their sports. He had a sense of humour and great determination. The funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 780 McCalman Ave. with Rev. Kruesel presiding.
