LUCILLE IDA GUERIN (nee ROSS) After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Lucille passed away in the early morning hours of December 27, 2006, at the age of 65 years, at Riverview Health Centre. She was predeceased by her husband, John; her mother Eva Ross and father Phillippe Ross; her mother-in-law Norma Everitt and nephew Randall Ross. Lucille is survived by her loving family, daughters, Marion (Mike) Segal and Carolyn (Mark) McBride; grandchildren, Brock, Braden and Becca Segal, Joshua and Hope McBride; brothers, Marcel (Lynn) Ross, Lawrence Ross; sisters, Suzanne Johnston and Claire Lambert. Many nieces and nephews also cherish her memory. Mom was very dedicated to her family, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed working in her garden, being in the outdoors, and had a deep affection for animals. She also enjoyed volunteering for various charitable organizations. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East and Navin Road. Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Interment to follow in Green Acres Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors and nurses at CancerCare and Riverview Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion.
