FRED GRIME Following a lengthy battle with cancer, Fred, age 78 years, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2006 at the Concordia Hospital. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nena; daughters Shirley (Ken) Siemens and Jane Grime, and granddaughter Amber (Neil) Gordon. Golfing and curling were among his interests as well as watching baseball. After taking early retirement from the CN in 1983, he and Nena enjoyed many trips to the States. Fred's greatest joy this summer was watching his granddaughter get married. Special thanks to the staff at Concordia Hospital who went above and beyond. Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street with viewing one-half hour prior to the service. Interment Brookside Cemetery.
