Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE (LARRY) FREDERICK MICHAEL HAUBER October 13, 1945 December 30, 2006 Surrounded by his loving family, Lawrence (Larry) Hauber passed away at the Stonewall Hospital on Saturday, December 30, 2006 after a brief battle with cancer. Larrry was born in Saskatchewan and moved at the age of 12 to Argyle, MB. At the age of 18 he joined Manitoba Hydro, which took him to Norway House where he met and later married Cheryl in 1971. Larry and Cheryl returned to Argyle in 1976 to raise their family. Larry continued to work for Hydro for 42 years in the Stonewall area and had retired at the end of 2005. Larry's enjoyment came from spending time with his family as well as from working outside, making sure the wood pile was plentiful and the lawn was always well maintained. Larry will be sadly missed by his wife Cheryl; children Loralee (Mike), David (Christine), Suzanne (Ray); granddaughters Quinn and Ava; as well as sister Rita (George), brother Joe (Edith) and numerous other extended family members and friends. Larry was predeceased by his parents Joe and Rose Hauber. Special thanks to Father Gerald Langevin for his support and comfort; to the staff at the Stonewall Hospital for their thoughtfulness and care; and to the many friends who came to visit Larry during his illness. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, January 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Stonewall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Church, Stonewall. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
