AUDREY JOYCE BESTVATER Peacefully, on December 28, 2006, Audrey Joyce Bestvater passed away at the Grace Hospice Centre at the age of 75 years after a lengthy battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her loving husband, Robert; sons Richard, Douglas (Valerie) and Daniel (Leanne) and daughter Shirley (Colin); grandchildren, Chris (Kelly) and Kali, Riley and Brian, Christie and Benjamin, Brendan, Brianne, Kira and Cole; great granddaughter, Natalie as well as scores of dear friends who will also miss her dearly. She will also be missed by sister Shirley (Ian), nephews Bruce and Colin, and niece Maureen, in-laws Dick and Ruby Best along with nephew Brad. Audrey was born in Winnipeg in 1931 and raised in Transcona. She and Bob were married in Transcona 50 years ago, moved to Saskatoon and a number of other places that Bob's work took them to. Audrey enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing and spending time with family and friends. She was a caring, kind and generous person who enriched the lives of those lucky enough to know her. She will be sadly missed and always remembered. The family wishes to thank Dr. Frame and the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital and Grace Hospice for their gentle care and concern. A celebration of Audrey's life will take place on today Tuesday, January 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street.
