YVONNE (BONNIE) SHOFFNER (JANUBA)
Born: Mar 04, 1937
Date of Passing: Dec 23, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYVONNE (BONNIE) SHOFFNER (nee JANUBA) March 4, 1937 - December 23, 2006 I am taking my last trip and even though I hate to travel alone, I couldn't ask either of my two beautiful daughters along for the ride as they, Bambi (Ryan) and Bobbette (Shayne) have their lives to live. Bob, my husband, I loved with all my heart. When I arrive at my final destination, I look forward to seeing my mom and dad (Anne and Albert), sister Joy and her husband Eddie. Bonnie lost her battle with cancer and was unable to finish this in her own words. She also leaves behind her sister, Bernice, nephews Ed (Kendra) and Jemal (Karen), great-nephews, Devin and Nathan, several cousins and many lifelong friends. She will be sorely missed by many. Bonnie was born in Rainy River, ON and moved to Winnipeg at the age of four. Bonnie and Bob met in Winnipeg and were married for 41 years and raised two wonderful daughters. Bonnie was a homemaker and loved to sew and make crafts, which became an integral part of her life. Bonnie was a fighter and she fought and won a battle with leukemia over 11 years ago. We were thankful to have her in our lives for an additional 11 years. We love you too and wish you god speed on your journey. The family would like to thank all of the many individuals who helped care for our wife and mother. At Bonnie's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
