STEWART GEORGE FROST January 28, 1923 - December 20, 2006 After a lengthy illness Stewart Frost formerly of Winnipeg passed away at Sunnybrook Veterans K Wing in Toronto. He will be sadly missed by his wife Mary, brother Ralph (Lucille), daughter Marilyn (John), son Norman, grandchildren, Cheryl, Andrew and Jeffrey, step-children John, Jennifer and Joel and his step-grandchildren. Stewart served in the Navy in 1942 to 1945 and graduated from McGill University. He raised his family with Helen Frost in Winnipeg where he worked as a civil engineer and spent many noon hours at the downtown YMCA. Stewart was an active member of the Unitarian Church, volunteered with the St. Vital Dolphins swim club and was an avid golfer. In 1977 he moved to Toronto and later remarried. Stewart and Mary enjoyed many hours singing with the church choir. He always enjoyed learning and began piano lessons, theory and crossword puzzles. Golf continued to be his summer activity of choice. A memorial service will be held in January in Toronto. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Stewart may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg MB, R2C 2B7.
