Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYVONNE RZESNOSKI (nee DUFAULT) 1918 - 2006 With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Yvonne Rzesnoski, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, on December 24, 2006, at 88 years of age. Yvonne was born in St. Boniface on June 6, 1918, daughter of Henriette Bruneteau and Joseph Dufault. She was educated in St. Boniface at St. Joseph Academy and received all of her early education with the Sisters of the Holy Names. She took cosmetology at the Marvel School of Beauty in 1937. Yvonne loved her profession and made a lot of dear friends over her 45 years of hairdressing. In 1938, Yvonne's parents moved to Dauphin and built the Cruise Dairy. On one of her visits to Dauphin she met the love of her life, Al Rzesnoski and they were wed in June of 1942. Al went into the Army and Yvonne followed him across the country for four years. While stationed in Vernon, BC, they celebrated the birth of their beloved daughter, Beverly. In 1946, they returned to Dauphin where they resided for the next 59 years. In 1955, their son Richard was born. Richard predeceased his parents on New Year's Eve 1957. A few months after Richard's death, they rejoiced the arrival of their chosen son, Harry. Yvonne was a proud and loving woman who unselfishly dedicated her life to her family. She cherished each and every one of her dear friends. She cut hair for the residents of St. Paul's Personal Care Home for many years and was a busy member of the Catholic Women's League. Yvonne loved to entertain friends and relatives at their fishing camp at the Waterhen. She was an exceptional cook and hostess! Yvonne will be forever loved and deeply missed by her husband Al of 64 years; her daughter Beverly MacIntyre; her son Harry (Arlene) Rzesnoski; and four very important people, her grandchildren, Ken (Mika) MacIntyre, Jeff MacIntyre, Perry Rzesnoski and Tyrrill Rzesnoski. She also leaves to mourn her sister Lillian Wood of Dauphin, Jerome (Jane) Wood of Winnipeg and other nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by her son Richard in 1957, her dad Joe in 1965, her mother Henriette in 1973 and her only brother, Armand in 1976. The family would like to express their appreciation to all the staff at Tache Personal Care Home for their energy, caring and professionalism. Flowers are gratefully declined. However, donations may be made to Les Amis de Tache Friends Inc at Tache Centre, 185 Despins Street, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2B3 in Yvonne's memory. A memorial service will be held at St. Viator's Church in Dauphin in the summer of 2007. The Desjardins Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 233-4949 or toll free 1-888-233-4949.
