Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT BROUSSEAU After a lengthy illness, Robert Joseph Brousseau, passed away on December 23, 2006. He is survived by his wife Tara and children, Royden, Scott, Bryce and Kathleen. He leaves to mourn his mother-in-law Nancy Ann Parkhill; brothers-in-law, Tim Parkhill, Ted Parkhill and Jeff Parkhill and their families. He is survived by siblings, Jim Brousseau (Ginny), Michael (Lynda), David (Martha) and Barb (Will). He was the son of the late Norman and Adeline Brousseau; brother to the late Norman and Richard and son-in-law to the late Roy Parkhill. Robert grew up in Winnipeg attending St. Paul's High School and Notre Dame College in Wilcox, SK. He had varied careers that included running a hotel and a brake shop, selling real estate in Winnipeg, Calgary and Kenora, and acting as General Manager at the St. Norbert and St. Adolphe Personal Care Homes for the past 10 years. He served on the Board of the Lake of the Woods Historical Society. His greatest contribution was to his wife and children. He gave a great deal to them and encouraged them in all their pursuits including a love of the Lake of the Woods, sailing, skiing, horseback riding, kite boarding, politics, education and cars. He had a unique sense of humour which his family will greatly miss. Robert was a kind and generous man. He was a loving and giving father. Pallbearers are Ray Hignell, Doug Latter, Michael Hoffer, David Reycraft, John Saunders, Stephen Craft and Tim Latter. Funeral services are to be held at St. Andrew's River Heights United Church, Kingsway and Oak, Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 Broadway - 783-7211 www.thomsonfuneralchapel.com
