Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I worked for Lionel at Madden Electric must be 25 years ago now. Just wanted to share one of my memories of him. One day my dad was in hospital for heart surgery, I was a little bummed out and mind not really on the job. Lionel asked what was wrong and I told him. He then told me about how he had lost his father while working away. He didn’t offer to let me go see my dad, he ordered me to go see my dad. My dad recovered and went on to live another 10 years but I never forgot his kindness. Hope your family is doing well. A little late and out of the blue but just wanted to share what a fine person Lionel was. Regards Phil Murphy - Posted by: Philip Murphy (Working) on: Nov 01, 2023
