Date of Passing: Dec 25, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES EDWARD LOOK July 31, 1947 - December 25, 2006 James, dearly beloved husband of Cheryl, passed away suddenly at Victoria Hospital. Left to grieve his passing are his sons, Jim, wife Jennifer and boys, Fletcher, Rafferty, and Emerson. Son David and daughter Finn. Also left to mourn are his mother Mary Look, sister Donna Kagan, husband Morris, and children Elaine, Rhonda, Jamie and son Joshua. Brother-in-law David Jardine and wife Joyce and sons, Bradley and Wes. He was predeceased by his beloved father Herbert Look in 1998. James was a quiet man who loved to be outdoors either cooking on a camp stove for his friends or walking the fields in the fall while hunting with his Dad, and later with his sons and nephew. He enjoyed spending time at his home, where he could always be found reading on the porch and gardening in the summer, while winters were spent in warmer climates on trips with his wife. He had a large circle of friends that reached deep into the generations of Kirkfield Park. James worked side by side his dad and mom, from the age of 14, and enjoyed the company and support of his parent's friends and their families. He enjoyed his times with his friends at unit 283 where he was a life member and his dad was a founding father. James had an infectious sense of humour, could speak on any topic, and loved a good discussion about his passion for investing. He was a caring and sensitive man that lived a life governed by what was right, no matter the circumstance and always ensured that the people he loved were taken care of. Our grief at his untimely passing is profound. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so desire they may make a donation to a charity of their choice. A service will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. you were my life C.
