Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFAITH (HELEN) THICKENS (nee CHASE) Peacefully passed away at the age of 83 with her family at her side on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at the Langley Memorial Hospital. Helen was born September 27, 1923 in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Sydney Thickens on November 11, 1987. Six brothers, Walter, Jim, Nathaniel, Homer, William, George. One sister Ivy; one granddaughter Melissa. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Dian (Lloyd) Robson of Delta, BC, Daphne Thickens of Seattle, WA. Two sons, Garr (Nadia) Thickens of Steep Rock, MB and Lyndon Thickens of Winnipeg, MB. Six grandchildren, Wayne (Monica), Duane (Akane), Lisa (Brad), Nicole, Kent and Curt. Nine great-grandchildren, Andrew, Alexandra, Lauren, Jaliesa, Caitlin, Tanner, Vanessa, Zane and Adam. If you listen with your heart, you will hear all of our love around you soft and clear. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Langley Lions Club or charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 30, 10:00 am. at Henderson's Langley Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley, BC V3A 4G6. 604-530-6488. Cremation has taken place. Internment in the Spring in Ashern, MB.
