ANNA MYSKA (nee MAZUR) Peacefully, on December 29, 2006, Anna Myska (nee Mazur) passed away at St. Norbert Personal Care Home at the great age of 95 years. Anna leaves to cherish her memory her children: Mary (John) Morrison, Olga (Wilfred) Dreger, Nestor, Albert (Joyce) all of Winnipeg, Peter (Eva) of Brisbane, Australia and daughter-in-law Mary Myska of Nanaimo; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild: Robert Morrison, Shirley (Pat) Collins, Lindsey and son Chaz, (Ruth) Morrison, Joanna and Jamie, Debra (Driss) Chaki, Anisa and Sarah, Richard Dreger, Grant (Suzanne) Myska, Kristen and Reece, Neil (Barbara) Myska, Janine and Laura, Kent Myska and Aidan. She will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends. Anna was predeceased by husband Michael Myska (1967), second husband Walter Sewerynenko (1988), son Rudy Myska and grandson Garry Morrison. Anna was born on March 28, 1911 at Ethelbert, MB and during her life resided in Winnipeg, Gordon, Laurier and Gladstone MB. Anna had a quiet personality but a great sense of adventure. She was happiest when she had places to go and things to do. She loved travelling far or near, Europe, Australia, the lake or Bird's Hill Park. She was a skilled knitter making intricate sweaters and afghans for all the family. Her excellent cooking and baking was enjoyed by all. Family gatherings were dear to her heart. She was devoted to all generations of her family and was much loved. The family would like to extend deepest appreciation to the caring staff at St. Norbert Personal Care Home where Anna resided for the past two years. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Interment will be at a later date. If one wishes, donations in memory of Anna may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or a charity of choice.
