ELLA ST. HILAIRE (nee HOEHN) Sadly, the family announces that Ella St. Hilaire went to eternal rest on Friday, December 29, 2006 at the Victoria General Hospital. Ella leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Al and many nieces and nephews. Ella, the youngest and last survivor of eleven children, was born in Grass River, MB to Gottlieb and Lydia Hoehn. She attended school at Grass River, then later moved to Winnipeg. She married Al St. Hilaire in 1954. Ella was employed at Canada Packers for 28 years. Everyone was always welcome in her home and her cooking skills were exceptional. Her greatest enjoyment was a good card game and nobody could dispute what a shrewd player she was. We will miss her gracious and warm hospitality and friendship. Her memory will linger in the hearts of family members and acquaintances. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Thank you to the staff of the Victoria General Hospital for their wonderful care.
