ARCHIBALD WILLIAM EVANS October 28, 1918 December 31, 2006 Archie Evans passed away peacefully on December 31, 2006 at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 88 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Allison, on March 3, 1994. Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Judy (Dennis) Fenton, Diane Evans, and David (Marlene) Evans and his four grandchildren, Derek Fenton, Garrett Evans, Lauren and Kelly Evans. Archie enjoyed a successful career working for MTS for over 30 years. He retired in 1982. He was always very physically active and loved golfing at the Assiniboine Golf Club where he was a long time member. He was also a member of the Assiniboine Curling Club. Archie, in addition, took pleasure in bowling and many Bridge Clubs. He also took pleasure in travelling to a number of different destinations after retirement. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the all the staff at Poseidon Care Centre for the support and loving attention they showed to Archie. In accordance with Archie's wishes there will be no formal service and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be forwarded to the charity of your choice.
