YVETTE MARGUERITE BOILY Peacefully at the Riverview Health Centre, Yvette Marguerite Boily, (née Lemoine), passed away on December 30, 2006, with her family by her side. Yvette is survived by her sons, Roland (Colette) of Richmond, BC, Jean-Paul of Vancouver, Dr. Raynald (Jan) of St. Catharines, ON and Roger (Leslie) of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1987. Left to cherish her memory is her sister Colette (Jacques) Prefontaine; her brothers, Aurele (Helene) Lemoine, Jean-Marc (Julia) Lemoine and ten grandchildren, Brigitte, Jean-Pierre, Rachelle, Arielle, Jovain, Danielle, Laura, David, Marc, and Paul. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lucille Millier and brother-in-law Norman Boily. Mom was born on August 21, 1932 in Ste. Agathe, MB, the eldest daughter of Isidore and Cyprienne Lemoine. She met her husband Paul in Richer, MB and they were married in 1952, raising four sons. Teaching was her passion, having taught elementary school in Richer, MB, l'Ecole Ste. Marie, Ecole Precieux Sang, Frontenac School, and l'Ecole Lacerte where she retired in 1997. She will be remembered for her love of children. Yvette took great pride in her students who fondly remember Madame Boily as a caring and dedicated teacher. She loved her grandchildren, greeting them with open arms when they would visit for the traditional Sunday suppers. Following her retirement, Mom became a tireless volunteer at Centre Taché. Over the years, she courageously overcame many challenges with her health until finally the Lord took her into His arms. Yvette became a resident of Riverview Centre in 2005 where she was known for her cheerful disposition. She made countless friends at the Centre and will be particularly missed by her roommate Rose. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for the compassion and care they provided to our mother and grandmother while she was a patient of the Centre. The final years of her life were filled with happiness and serenity. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LeClaire Brothers. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 6 at the Holy Family Parish, 778 Archibald St., Winnipeg, MB, Fr. Ron Léger, c.s.v., presiding. Flowers are gratefully declined. The family requests that donations be made to the Riverview Foundation, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4. Mom, we will forever cherish your courage, your tenacity and your unbridled optimism. You are finally free to travel unencumbered to wherever your soul desires.
