MICHAEL GRABOWSKI Peacefully, with family by his side, on January 1, 2007 at St. Boniface Hospital, Michael Grabowski passed away at the age of 89. Michael leaves us here on earth to be with his mother and father, sister Mary, and brothers Nick, Carl and Peter. He will be deeply missed by Nellie his wife of 67 years; son Jim (Barb); daughter Carole (Paul); and grandsons Paul-Jamie, Justin, Chad and David. Mike and Nellie were partners in their barber and beauty shop at Winnipeg Beach for more than 30 years. They have resided in Winnipeg since 1971. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital Emergency and Palliative Care Departments for their care and comfort in Mike's final hours. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2007 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street.
