DOROTHY JEAN (JACKIE) COWARD (nee JACKMAN) With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Jackie Coward, December 30, 2006 at the age of 74. Jackie was born in Calgary, Alberta, April 19, 1932. She spent the majority of her working years with the Federal Government in the field of tele-communications. She was an avid knitter, enjoyed reading, soap operas, the Internet and bingo. She was predeceased by her parents Norman and Gertrude (Betty) Jackman, her brother Ronald and her son Loran. She is survived by her loving husband Peter; daughters, Dawn (John Bronk), Lorna, Wendy of Barrhead, Alberta and Kim (Bob Parker); grandchildren, Jennifer, Kimberlee, Tamara, Quentin, Charity, Tiffany and Ainsley; great-granddaughters Phoenix and Morgan. The greatest love of her life was her husband Peter. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom will all miss her greatly. She will also be missed by many friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Alban's Church, Rathgar at Osborne.
